The GPs, Nurses and Staff at Outwood Park Medical Centre endeavor to provide the best possible health care to our patients in a professional environment that is easily accessible to all.
Our quality standards are met by ensuring that staff is trained to deal with the challenges and demands of modern healthcare and to provide a working environment that is caring, friendly and innovative in its approach.

Our clinical team (comprising doctors, nurse practitioner, nurses, healthcare assistant and phlebotomists) work alongside our receptionists and administrators to provide access to many services. We work closely with community-based teams and external organisations to offer our patients a wide range of services from the practice

Brief description of location
Outwood Park Medical Centre is a purpose-built (2000) premises
The Practice has equipment available to support patients with specific needs such as an induction loop and wheelchair etc.
The practice has a branch surgery In Wrenthorpe
Staffing requirements are discussed on a regular basis and new staff members are recruited as required. All members of the staff team have a job description and are trained to complete all duties specified within it. They have a contract outlining their responsibilities in relation to safety, security and maintaining patient care and there is a staff handbook providing additional information. All staff members are inducted to the organisation and their role. As part of the induction staff members will be required to complete mandatory training.
Training requirements are reviewed annually through performance appraisals.
